What a game. Big Redbirds fan, so really happy with them! Matt and Sammy, what's with the hate?? Yall lost off the fact nobody could come in that game and throw strikes. Which is sad cause yall pitching has been stellar till this point. Redbirds made 0 errors and went perfect on fielding, harder to generate runs when the pitching and defense is like that. Give them their flowers. Keeping a lineup like the mustangs down like that for 4 innings is impressive, to say the least. I'm just confused why Kyle Yoder didn't get the ball much earlier in that contest, especially considering your situation Sammy, amd the fact he pitched his tail off in the quarter finals. I think you give him the start of the 2nd inning atleast idk. But I'm just talking from the stands like everybody else.
Regardless really happy for Casey to get his shot, been depressing to watch all season. I know even if he has a good heart it stings to not be able to perform for your team. Congrats to the Redbirds, John amd Mason are absolutely electric. And of course my favorite player Chandler Sartain! Glad you could actually catch the ball today 😭💯🔥

I said this last game, Kyle and Matt are better than Sammy, but after this game I think they are both top 4.. a lot of captains this year in the nbl will be falling down the ranks, a lot of top players as well, lots of shake ups should be coming. Good Semifinal game. Also Casey might be the worst player in the nbl, a Jake Short without the pitching, but that home run was great, good job man!
